This Short Learning Programme (SLP) was initiated due to the needs of people and healthcare workers, which were exacerbated during the 2019 Pandemic, thus highlighting the importance of this programme and its underpinnings.

We Welcome you to join us as we embark on this journey of cultivating Mental Prosperity through self-care and team-care.

1. Promote a sense of mental robustness and agility

What can we practically do to enhance our mental robustness and agility?

2. Promote a sense of calm.

Controlled breathing, relaxation techniques, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and promote constructive self-conversations.

3. Promote a sense of efficacy.

Training and mindful self-care.

4. Promote a sense of team connectedness and collaboration.

Team identity, team cooperation, team

pledge, and team bonding and team care.

5. Promote a sense of hope.

Cognitive strategies: challenge feelings of helplessness; monitor, challenge and re school own thoughts.
